As if things couldn’t be more fucking hectic and frantic and crazy and every other synonym I could think of, now I need to spend another $700 on my car to fix it. I understand what needs to be fixed and they are things that desperately need to be fixed. But shit, why now when our lease is almost up and the hubby still hasn’t decided what the hell he wants to do; renew the lease or put our things in storage and have us move in with relatives until we move out of Florida? What the hell, man… Now, when I finally have a job that seems stable and is paying me good money, he wants to leave. What. The. HELL. I’m so close to telling him, “I’m renewing the lease, you’re welcome to stay here with me if you like…” It’s not fair to me that now I’m bringing in the bulk of our income and he wants to hightail it out of Florida. One more year wouldn’t kill him, and it would give us time to save up money and move out next year! And not just move out to some shithole, but get us an actual house for cheap (because really, anywhere is cheaper than Florida LOL).

On a lighter note, I went out Saturday night to Ft. Lauderdale to see my ex-boyfriend Eddy’s band Dissever play at the Monterey Club. I was originally going to go with my next door neighbor, but she bailed on me. And of course, Audi the homebody didn’t want to go out anywhere. So, I ended up going by myself. And I am quite glad I did. I got to meet up with Eddy (whom I hadn’t seen in years) and it felt great to re-connect with him, since I’ve known him for almost 10 years. I even bought a Dissever t-shirt and was offered a micro-brewed beer by Dissever’s manager. Sweet.

Right now, I’m on my lunch break, taking the time to write in my blog since it seems I never have time to do so anymore… except when I have something to bitch about. Oh, snap. I guess this is one of those times, eh?

Oh, but I do have some more good news. I don’t believe I’ve mentioned this in my blog, but one of my artworks was chosen to be printed in Ballistic Publishing‘s upcoming book Exposé. This is a very big deal; this book is one of the biggest digital art books in the world, and is seen by big name artists, companies, producers, etc etc. Here’s to hoping this publication will get me some much needed attention.

Yep, that’s the name of the game right now. Seems every little thing in life is out to frustrate, annoy, and torment the living shit out of me. Why? I don’t know. Maybe I was an evil witch in a past life, or some nasty karma is rearing it’s ugly head in my direction. Whatever the reason, I wish it would bloody well STOP already.

I’m tired, too. I’ve been feeling really run down and defeated lately. I don’t feel like eating sometimes, either. I’d just rather stay in bed and not do anything, or say anything… it doesn’t help that Audi has been so busy with his hard drives and computer situation to come and give me some much needed attention. *sigh* What a dumb yutz he is sometimes.

I’m going to my goddaughter’s soccer practice today, again. Hopefully seeing her smiling and happy to see me will lift my spirits a bit.

Yes, indeed-y. I’m gonna be busy, busy, busy. After work tomorrow, I’m going to my goddaughter’s soccer game, and from there I’ll be driving down to Miami. I have another doctor’s appointment Friday morning, and my doctor now has the new ultrasound scans from the hospital. Hopefully, tomorrow, I’ll find out if there actually has been any drastic change in the size of the massive fibrous mass in my left boob. I swear, I think that thing gets bigger every day. It’s the size of a ping pong ball now. =( Meh.

I’m going to be staying in Miami for the weekend, so I can spend some time with my family and friends. I haven’t seen some of my friends in almost 4/5 months, so it will be nice to hang out with them again. I’ve so far got plans for Saturday afternoon, and possibly Friday night. However, sprinkled in between, I’ll likely be doing stuff for my job, since there is still a lot of catching up to do. Now that Paul has left Statements to pursue other ventures, we have to buckle down and get shit done until Jon finds a replacement for him. Fun! *sigh*

On a lighter note, the newest Bleach chapter is UH-MAZING. I frickin’ called what would happen, too, which is always such a gratifying feeling. Oh, and the Bleach episodes are finally back onto the canon storyline from the manga. However, they’re taking their sweet, precious time getting to one of the greatest fights in Bleach history: Ichigo vs. Ulquiorra. WOOO! I’m SO stoked.

Anyway, it’s time to start packing my bags for the weekend and start getting ready for bed. Ciao!

Sometimes it just turns out that wayyyyy… <3

Actually, my Monday turned out to be pretty good.It certainly started out on a great note, since my hubby made sure to give me some TLC before I headed out to work. *giggle* I spent the entire morning removing the audio from the movies Paul, my co-worker, shot of the wall sculptures. Now, people won’t hear the grinding of the machines or the automatic tape machine from the adjacent room. LOL. How embarrassing.

I went to lunch at this place called Cardello’s Italian Cuisine, and they had a pretty awesome lunch buffet. I had mostly pasta and bread, and only one (small) slice of pizza. The BEST thing they had, though, was their Alfredo sauce. HOLY COW. It was perfect. It also helped that the waitress was very nice and very attentive. So, having such a nice lunch certainly helped out my Monday, as well.

Right now, I’m home, waiting for the hubby to get dressed and ready to do some grocery shopping. After telling him about the restaurant, he got in the mood for Italian. Instead of going to a restaurant, though, we’re gonna buy a family-size lasagna from Publix and pig out. Haha. I think I might even buy some beers (god, when did I become such an alky? lol) to make this week a little more pleasant.

Anyway, I’m gonna go make the hubby hurry up. Ciao!

I realized part of the reason that I didn’t get a lot of comments on my blog entries was because the people whom I left comments for never seemed to have much time to comment on mine. Hmm. SO, to rectify that situation, I decided to seek out folks with blogs who might be prone to comment on mine if I comment on theirs! I made a poll on deviantart.com, asking folks to link me to their blogs (whether it be on Blogger, Blogspot, Tumblr, WordPress, etc). The response I got was more than anything I ever expected! I ended up with almost 20-25 new additions to my Fellow Bloggers list. Hooray! So hopefully now, I’ll have a bit of a bigger following.

In other news, I went shopping today. I FINALLY bought a copy of “The Fame Monster” from Lady Gaga. Why hadn’t I bought a copy earlier you ask? Well, I didn’t have a car until recently, and since I’d gotten the car, all I’ve done is work, work, work. (And no, I didn’t want to order it online). I also bought myself some *cough* feminine apparel and a really cute shirt that kind of… already looks like the shirt I was wearing, except the one I was wearing was a tank top with a racer back. The new shirt has sleeves, so now I don’t have to worry about the damn bra straps showing anymore. Huzzah! I’ll likely wear it to work tomorrow.

Oh and speaking of work, I really do hope I have a good day tomorrow. I’m frickin’ exhuasted as it is, and the fact that tomorrow’s Monday instantly marks it as a day that is destined to be filled with stress, madness, and failure. If I can at least have a decent Monday, then I can have some ray of hope for the rest of the week.

Anyway, back to today, after leaving the mall (which is FAR AS HELL), I drove back north and stopped off at my cousin’s house to visit the family. My godkids were apparently VERY excited to see me. haha. The littlest one came rushing down the stairs shouting my name. SO KEWT! XD I didn’t take my camera, but that was fine. Luckily the iPhone has a decent camera so I snapped a few shots here and there. We watched “Back to the Future III” for a little while in the living room until I realized it was getting kind of late and decided to head back home.

I’m kind of hungry right now actually. I’m gonna go scavenge the kitchen for food. CIAO!

I got the job, ladies and gents! Yippee! Today was my first day of work, and I gotta tell ya, it was pretty damn sweet. The job is basically this: Photograph the abstract metal art pieces and sculptures, edit the photos so that they look spectacular, and prepare the eBay listings for them. The main goal that the studio is aiming for is to make the images look as close as possible to how the pieces look in real life. A lot of times, people will see the images and think that it has blue or orange when it really doesn’t; it’s simply a light reflecting the wrong color onto the piece. My job is to correct old images and take new photos with the correct lighting and camera settings for the best final result. I spent the majority of the day taking photos, which is like heaven for me, since I love doing that anyway!

One of the nicest things about the job is that I get paid on Tuesdays. That means next week on Tuesday, I’ll be getting my first paycheck, which is so desperately needed right now, even if it will only be about $240 for Friday, Monday, and Tuesday. I work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, 9 to 5. I’m so excited! Hopefully now, with the money coming in from the two book covers, and this job, I can finally fix my DAMN CAR! LOL. Until then, my wonderful hubby Audi is driving me to and from work.

Tomorrow, my parents are coming up to visit my family in West Palm Beach, and Audi is gonna drive me over there so I can spend some time with all of them. Later on in the evening, I’m going to the movies with the neighbors to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D. Audi’s really not in the mood to see it, but he said that if I wanted to go with them, that it would be cool. Heh. What a party pooper! ;D

Anyway, that’s pretty much it for now. Still waiting for a final confirmation from Random House, and planning on enjoying my weekend before *giggle* going back to work on Monday! XD

I made a profile on Match.com. I am unsure whether anything will come out of it, but like the site says, “it’s free to look”. So, I’m looking. I did find one match that I thought was almost like he came out of the Twilight Zone. By that, I mean that I read his profile and nearly every paragraph had me saying, “Holy crap, me too!” Now, to see if he even contacts me back. Heh. I still have feelings for Audi, and I’ll never stop caring about him. But considering he hasn’t shown any sign of wanting to speak to me or interact with me again, I’m trying to find a new path. It’s a long and bump road, but I am afraid it is one I will have to travel.

My iPhone arrived today, but since I am still at work… I have to wait until I get home to play with my new toy. Mwahaha. I can’t wait to get rid of my iPod Mini. I appreciate that it stuck out for me for nearly 4 years, but it’s time to move on from 4gb to 16gb. Sorry, dear.

I’m going to see Transformers this evening with my friend Chris and his family at 7:10pm, which means I may just have to go straight from work to the movies. I get out everyday at 6:00pm. There MIGHT be time for me to go home first, but it’s all dependent on the weather and the traffic. The weather has been pretty damn disgusting lately. I hate driving in the rain. I much prefer the rain when I am at home and have nowhere I need to go.

Well, anyway, off to have some lunch.
